Rivervale Primary School Brass Band was formed in 1999 with 20 members. Since its inception, the band has grown from strength to strength. To date, there are about 50 members comprising the performing band and junior members. In 2018, the band participated in the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Central Judging for Bands and attained a Certificate of Distinction. In the same year, they participated in the Singapore International Band Festival (SIBF) and received a Silver (Division 3). Under the baton of Mr Philip Han, the band aspires to create music that reaches the hearts of fellow musicians and listeners.
