The Yishun Secondary Symphonic Band constantly strives for excellence and believes that the band will only be as strong as it is united. The band was awarded Certificate of Distinction at the Singapore Arts Festival Arts Presentation 2015 and 2017. Our members learned the importance of discipline and resilience. The band values learning through workshops, exchanges with other bands and other forms of arts appreciation. The members also cherish forging bonds and friendships with other musicians. The band had the honour of performing for former President Dr. Tony Tan at the Istana in 2017. In all that the band does, we hope to seek, to strive and to soar as one band family.
