“One Heart, One Sound, One Band” – These are the words that bring us together. On 30 March, the Nan Hua Symphonic Band obtained a Distinction in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation (SYFAP) and in April, the band’s first Brass Ensemble was pleasantly surprised with another Distinction in the SYFAP. They were honoured to be invited to perform at the Istana on Deepavali. 2017 ended with a trip to Hong Kong and we performed at Hong Kong Disneyland as part of their annual ‘Winter Band Festival’.
